Description

Well, lookie here. Look's like John hasn't had enough, and he's back for more! This is my first ever sequel to a tf, as promised earlier. For those of you who don't really know, this is a follow-up to one of my earlier submissions huntinsnake.deviantart.com/art…. Please comment and critique it as much as you like! All feedback is welcome (for both the story and the photomorph XD) Enough talking now, and on with the story!

It had been 3 months since that fateful day, the day that John's life had changed forever. 3 months ago, he had been spontaneously transformed into a mershark while out on a dive. 3 months ago, he was a human, but now had become a changed person. Literally.

He had, in that time span, swam the seven seas, and with each new one he found a different world compared to the last one. His soul was definitely in his habitat, and all his dreams and wishes of exploring the world were fulfilled.

But somehow, just somehow, John still had an empty feeling inside him. He was not yet complete...

He didn't really miss home, nor did he have any real family or friends to go back too... His girlfriend had also left him ages ago. None of that bothered him, but he had to have something that was lacking.

To celebrate the third month of his 'blessing' John decided to hunt for an extra large fish for his breakfast. He rarely got big catches and it was not because of the difficulty (he WAS the top predator everywhere he went, and he did have two stomachs), but because he disliked overeating and he couldn't bear with eating possibly endangered species. He stealthily followed a large bluefin tuna, making as little disturbances in water as he could, gliding along swiftly and silently with a slight but strong motion of his powerful tail. He began to slowly creep up to match the fish's pace, and once over the ravine, he dove for the kill.

Only thing was, he didn't.

The view before him was so spectacular, that he completely forgot about his meal. Instead, he contemplated his new discovery. Before him lay a vast shipwreck, unlike anything he had seen before, even when he was a human. The ship, although in an irreversible and unsalvageable state of decay, retained an air of beauty and mystery around it. He estimated it to be about a hundred years old, give or take.

John swam towards the ruins, admiring how quickly nature had taken back the structure. Fish swam in and out of the multitude of portholes, broken frames and twisted structures that once stood strong and pristine. The hull remained mostly intact, with the exception of a huge opening on the starboard side. The ship's deck instead was bare, nearly non-existent.

He continued to discover the ship that time forgot, and with each new section he saw something new. The ship's cabins were still stocked with decaying clothes, and the galley still had its rusting cutlery. It felt really strange swimming around in a place that once once meant to be walked on. What was even stranger was the complete lack of human remains. Ni bones, nothing. He suspected that everyone managed to escape the doomed ship. He then was astonished by the utter splendor of the Captain's quarters.

Gilded gold lined the ceiling and the frames of the bookshelves. Nearly every piece of furniture and fittings were crafted out of mahogany, albeit difficult to tell from the years of decay. What was even more curious was that the room seemed to be trapped in time, as hardly anything was out of place. It was truly surreal.

He spotted a shiny object glinted out of the corner of his eye. Swimming over to inspect it, he found a gold shark tooth necklace the lay next to the desk on the floor. John slowly lifted the ancient object from the floor and held it in the palm of his hands. The shape of the tooth was too perfect, as though as it was artificial, but it definitely felt genuine.

Suddenly, he felt a burning sensation coming from the palm of his hand. Realising that it came from that tooth he found, he dropped the it without hesitation with the fear that it had been cursed or something.

But it was too late.

The hot sensation soon spread across his entire body, and he was twisting and spasming in absolute pain. His body was on fire and there wasn't anything he could do about it, even though he was in the water already!

Muscles popped and bones cracked, but through all the agony John actually realised that he was going to enjoy this, to see his body change again, to be improved. He set his mind to encourage and embrace all these new sensations, and the changes sped up in response.

He felt that he was growing in size, all muscle, bones and body expanding. New strength and power coursed through his being, unlike anything he had ever felt before, even as a 'normal' mershark. He grew and grew, completely surpassing human limits and bulking up two twice his original size! His shark portion was now finally similar in size with a great white shark, with his torso and head proportioned apppropriately.

But that was not the only change to come.

John felt his torso lengthen and his chest expand dramatically, with his pecs building so much muscle that it then split into two pairs! Nipples grew in as the new set of muscles bulged out. In the meantime, two tiny nubs began to force their way out underneath his arms. He relished the feeling as the nubs continued to grow and gain an arm-like structure, slowing forming a new hand and fingers. The muscles along the new arm rippled and expanded until they were nearly equal in size with his original ones.

Now, John's shoulders seared with unimaginable pain. It felt as though something deep within was trying to escape with utmost urgency. Both pairs of arms interlocked and tried to rub the base of his neck on both sides to ease the discomfort, but to no avail. Gradually, tiny bumps began to protrude from his shoulders, relieving John from the intense pressure that was built up prior.

Giddiness overwhelmed John as the bumps grew larger. New thoughts began to swim around his mind, although they were neither here nor anywhere else. The growing bumps had no form or structure, as they constantly warped and twisted and expanded. They felt completely alien to him, and yet familiar and beckoning at the same time. He began to feel through those bumps as they slowly hardened and finally took shape.

John was flooded with new sensations and experiences, and instead of panic, wonder began to set in. These bumps were in fact going to be new shark heads, perfectly rested upon his huge shoulders - one great white (his original), one hammerhead and one tiger shark. And on these heads he felt two depressions forming on each one, and they ripped apart revealing new pairs of eyes! It was truly a sight to behold. He could now feel, move, taste, talk, hear, see and breathe independently throughout his heads, but he knew that they were all under his control.

This immense power, all the perspectives and all the pleasure he got from this was unbelievable. Now there truly wasn't a creature in the world that would challenge his might! Which gave him a thought: if that shark tooth turned him into this, wouldn't it transform him even more? With this in mind, he went back into the wreck. The hole he had created  during his internal struggle made him marvel a little at his raw strength, as it was as though he had ripped through all the steel as though it was mere paper.

It was nowhere to be found. Even with his new eyes and heads, he just couldn't find it! It had vanished into thin air. Disappointed, he left the wreck.

As he was leaving, he spotted that same very tuna that he had pursued here. Now filled with the desire to hunt and flaunt his newfound power, he went off after it with renewed intent.

He could now swim so quickly that he caught up with the fish hundreds meters away in just a few seconds. His burly arms shot out and quickly grabbed the prey. His heads dove in for the kill, biting and chewing every morsel of meat they could find. He even had to consciously warn his heads to not fight each other over the meal! It was not enough though. After going through a whole school of fish, he was finally sated. John knew that he was going to enjoy this.

Far away in the distance, someone, or something, watched. Whispering softly, it said, "You've grown so much my dear... But I've still got one more present to give to you. For now, enjoy it. When the time is right, I shall finally unleash your true form!" Giggling gleefully, the figure disappeared.
